We will ensure that the information you submit to us via our website or through any of our offices or other international websites or offices is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.

 

 

The Information We Collect and How We Use It 

 

SBG Associates Ltd may collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details (together with your e-mail address) and other relevant information from your  CV. On occasions this may also include – sensitive personal information such as details of criminal convictions and ethnic origin. 

 

We may also obtain information about you from searching for potential candidates or clients from third party sources, such as LinkedIn and other job sites;

 

This information is held, used and disclosed by us as follows:

 

Our main area of work is recruitment – connecting the right Candidates with the right Clients and jobs. We've listed below various ways in which we may use and process your personal data for this purpose, where appropriate and in accordance with any local laws and requirements. Please note that this list is not exhaustive.

 

  • Storing your details (and updating them when necessary) on our database, so that we can contact you in relation to     recruitment;

  • Providing you with our recruitment services and to facilitate the recruitment process;

  • Assessing data about you against vacancies which we think may be suitable for you;

  • Sending your information to Clients, in order to apply for jobs or to assess your eligibility for jobs;

  • Carrying out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between us;

  • Carrying out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between SBG Associates  and third parties in relation to your recruitment;

  • Verifying details you have provided, using third party resources or to request information (such as references, qualifications and potentially any criminal convictions, to the extent that this is appropriate and in accordance with local laws);

  • We may periodically send you information that we think you may find interesting, or to ask for your help with connecting other Candidates /Clients. 

  • In particular, we may wish to use your data for the purposes of marketing our full range of recruitment services (permanent, temporary, contract ), to you;

  • Where you are registered as a candidate on our database, your personal information may be accessible by or transferred or duplicated to our offices globally wherever they are based to enable them to provide you with recruitment services and for the purposes of business development, systems development and testing. 

  • If SBG Associates is acquired by another business or company, we may share personal information with the new owners of the business or company and their advisors and if this happens, you will be sent notice of such event;

  • We may also release personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies, if they require us to do so. We will also disclose your information where we are permitted and requested to do so by law; 

  • We may also seek your consent to collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information for any other purpose not listed above.

 

 

Your Curriculum Vitae (“CV”)

 

  • You can provide your CV via our website, directly to one of our consultants for consideration for general positions or in response to a specific advertised job.

  • Your CV will be stored in the SBG Associates database and will be accessible by our recruitment consultants within Europe.  

  • You can update your CV at any time, simply by following the same procedure to submit a new CV. Your old CV will automatically be archived providing  the submission details remain the same (for example you submit both CVs using the same email address, or you advise the relevant contact of your new submission).

 

 

Access

 

  • You have the right at any time to ask us for a copy of the information supplied by you that we hold. We may ask you to verify your identity and for more information about your request. We also have the right to charge an administrative fee for this service. Where we are legally permitted to do so, we may refuse your request and will give you reasons for doing so.

  • If you would like to make a request for information, please contact SBG Associates. You also have the right to ask SBG Associates  to stop using your information, however, if this involves a request for deletion of your file, please be aware that we may not be required or able to do so, particularly where your file also holds information about our clients or financial information that we need to keep for periods of up to six years, i.e. that relate to tax matters. Where we are unable to comply with your request we will provide reasons for failing to do so.

 

 

 

Changes to our Privacy Policy

 

This privacy policy may be changed by SBG Associates at any time. If we change our privacy policy in the future, we will advise you of changes or updates to our privacy policy by a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of this website or our services after such changes will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
